Overview
An introduction to independent research on the future of water resources in Palm Beach and Martin Counties, by Dr. Lance Gunderson, Associate Professor, Emory University Department of Environmental Studies and Stephen Light of Adaptive Strategies. The study raises complex issues affecting sustainable development if the growth rate of the counties exceeds the water supplies available to sustain such growth. The study was commissioned by the Community Foundation to help promote and build public consensus on water quality and conservation practices and policies.
